IT Support Executive

Role Summary

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an individual to join our US operation to support our US trading teams on Operational and IT matters. This role will report into our central operations team based in London. We are looking for a talented individual who wishes to continue their own personal development whilst ensuring the needs of the business are met and expectations exceeded.

The Aventum Group (AGL) is an independent, privately owned, debt-free global (re)insurance group that operates across both the underwriting and broking sectors. We currently employ around c350 staff and have 15 offices across 4 continents.  Through our wholesale (Consilium) and MGA (Rokstone) platforms, AGL offers clients a range of specialist solutions in all lines of Property and Casualty (re)insurance and is writing more than $1.5bn GWP.  

AGL’s 2026 vision is an insurance group with 5 complementary verticals spanning broking, underwriting and capital markets, controlling c.$5bn GWP.  To achieve this vision AGL has embarked upon a programme of organic growth, joint ventures, and M&A activity.

Role Responsibilities

  • SharePoint administration – adding new users, configuration of new sites as per Group IT policies.

  • Act as liaison for all US IT matters that require support from central services.

  • System testing – lead system testing, system integrations, tracking and resolution of system issues, and scoping of system enhancements.

  • Handover of configuration to business for testing purposes

  • 1st line of defence for IT issues and resolving IT helpdesk tickets

  • Being able to use VBA efficiently

Role Requirement

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications

  • Basic knowledge of IT collaboration apps i.e., Teams

  • Experience working in customer service and/or Helpdesk would be an advantage

Full training will be provided

  • Flexibility in working hours and task list with willingness to work outside working hours if necessary (occasionally)

  • Willing to support remote sites, including visits
